Kaki no tane, literally "persimmon seeds" (because they are shaped like a persimmon pit), are among the most popular Japanese appetizers. They are small puffed rice cakes with soy sauce mixed with roasted peanuts. They are usually eaten with beer. These are also flavored with wasabi.

Made from wasabi powder from the city of Azumino, Kameda Seika's kaki no tane are dried using a double-drying method, which gives them a unique and tangy taste.

Made from 100% Japanese rice.
